The Handles
The handles made of wood, horn, bone, or even mammoth molar, are individually chosen, sculpted and hand shaped by our Master-Knifesmiths.
The materials arrive in their raw state. We carry out the cutting and sawing in our workshop. We manufacture pads that are matched to keep the visual homogeneity and symmetry of our handles. We then work on numerical controls for drilling, surfacing and preforming the handles. This increases the accuracy of adjustment and quality. The final shaping of the handles is done by hand by our Master-Knifesmiths.
